Feng Chia Cloud Innovation School as the first educational institution officially became the training partner of Amazon (AWS) in Greater China Area

On December 3rd, under the witness of President Bing-Jean Lee of Feng Chia University, General Manager Wang Dingkai of AWS Hong Kong and Taiwan (online) and Head of BD Louis Ho, Feng Chia Cloud Innovation School officially became an AWS training partner. It is the first educational institution training unit in the Greater China Area, and it is also an important milestone for the Feng Chia Cloud Innovation School, which has just been established for one year.

In addition to integrating AWS Educate/Academy learning resources into teaching, it also extends from campus to industry and cloud talent cultivation in the central region. Among them, the cooperative plan for cloud talent cultivation jointly launched by the three parties with the Taichung City Government at the end of March 2021 is to fulfill the social responsibilities of universities during the epidemic, to handle the country's first cloud vocational certificate challenge, and to drive national colleges and universities from the central region. The college and high school vocational students learn independently on the AWS Educate platform. A total of 195 schools participated in the joint completion of 2,010 courses online; from University AWSome Day, AWS GameDay, to AWS DeepRacer, many of the first activities were almost all in Feng Chia Developed within the school.

President Lee also thanked AWS for its affirmation of Feng Chia University’s talent cultivation. He is honored to be the first AWS training unit in the Greater China region to be established by a school institution. He expects that with the professional support of AWS, which is the leader in the cloud industry, In the process of constructing the ecological circle of university social responsibility, Fengjia has made more international and diversified innovations.
